Guangzhou, 23 October 2026 — The second phase of the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) kicked off today in Guangzhou, themed “Quality Home Life”, drawing a large influx of global buyers to source home goods, decorative items and building & furniture products.
Covering an exhibition area of 515,000 square metres, this phase features over 25,000 booths across 14 sub-zones under three major categories: housewares, gifts & decorations, and building materials & furniture. More than 10,000 exhibitors take part, including over 3,600 specialised, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative enterprises and single-champion manufacturers bringing upgraded, eco-friendly and customised home products.
The opening day saw a busy atmosphere throughout the venue. Overseas purchasers from across regions visited booths for face-to-face negotiations, sample checking and price discussions. Many suppliers secured letters of intent and tentative orders on Day One. Green and low-carbon products stood out as a major highlight, with nearly 640,000 sustainable exhibits on display, accounting for 26.9% of total products in this phase, ranging from eco kitchenware, renewable decor materials to energy-saving building solutions.
Key product lines on show include daily-use ceramics, tableware, glass crafts, home ornaments, gardening supplies, furniture, sanitary ware, integrated housing and courtyard facilities, catering to diversified global procurement demands for residential and commercial home markets.
Running from 23 to 27 October, Phase 2 continues to serve as a vital bridge connecting Chinese manufacturers with global buyers, facilitating trade matching, innovation exchange and green supply-chain cooperation.
